Purchasing items sight unseen can sometimes bring unexpected (and unwanted) surprises, but when my 19 month old granddaughter opened this pink Schwinn trike, the room was immediately filled with ooohs and aaahhs. It not only is the coolest looking trike ever, but well made, low to the ground and adjustable for several years of wear and tear! I purchased pedal extenders, but I don't think she'll really master it till she's closer to 2, which I think is probably the perfect age for this trike.
