I ordered this trike for my 2 grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. The bike was easy to assemble, and very safe and sturdy. I searched around to find this bike in stores so I could see its size and weight, but couldn't find it anywhere in my area. My only complaint about the bike is its size and weight. It is bigger than I imagined and very heavy to carry or lift anywhere. This is a great bike - very well made. It is heavy though - which is one of the features I liked. It can't be tipped over and it is really cute! The seat adjust is great since it can adjust to your child's height. My son is very tall though and it was hard for him to use at first. Definitely for a 2.5 year old or older. I was not entirely satisfied with this product. I was told that if I ordered it that day than it would ship out on the 6th. It sipped out on the 10th. Making it late for the childs birthday. When the bike did arrive it had a sizeable scratch on the back of it, and the front tire was deflated. However, the bike was the perfect size for a husky kid and was very easy to assemble. This trike totally rocks. Our daughter is 3 and we have 3 trikes. One is a radio flyer folding trike. It was not a great success. Tips very easily and is very slow when she is riding it. It is also now too small. We also have a fisher price rock, roll and ride trike. That one is very good, but we have used it so much the wheel slips when she is peddling and it is all plastic, so you have to be careful going up driveways that are uneven to the road etc etc. After reading the reviews for the schwinn trike I just knew we had to try it. We were going to get her a two wheel bike with training wheels, but they are so heavy and we have a 7 month old baby and we go for hour long walks where she rides. I can put this trike on top of my chariot stroller if she wants to sit. She can fly on this trike, even though it is a bit heavy, but all kids bikes are heavy. Adults comment on how cool it is. All in all this is a great purchase. Just as a note though, she wears a a size 5 in clothes and the seat is the furthest back that it can be. It will be too small next year for sure. This is by far the cutest and most sturdy tricycle I've seen. My children love theirs. They are low to the ground and don't tip over. Everyone who sees them wants one too. I bought this trike for my 2 year old son for basically two reasons: It's not plastic and It's beautiful. We just received it and assembled it a week ago and while assembling it(Which took no time at all) i did notice there were some deep scratches on the metal tubes that took some of the paint off, there were also minor dings that weren't really noticeable unless you were looking for them. The tires...well, that was my biggest fear considering the reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box and all three tires were properly inflated and they didn't look like they were bad quality rubber, Maybe schwinn has become aware of the issue with the tires and is fixing it?
