I bought this for my 2 year old son. Intially I thought he would be too big and/or potentially quickly outgrow the trike based on other reviews, however once we put it together I realized quite the opposite. He can barely reach the pedals now at 2.5 (he weights 31 lbs), so sadly he hasn't quite broken it in yet. He does however LOVE it and will roll it around our neighborhood. I don't doubt this will get lots of use next spring!
Basics on the trike: Made well and very study (however I do not recommend anyone other than a smaller child standing on the wooden back as it would not support the weight). We didn't have any problems putting it together, nor did we notice any damage to any of the peices. As far as the quality- this trike offers a wooden back deck with the brand burned in, study plastic seat with available adjustments, real rubber tires, leather tassels on the handlebars, and my son's favorite- a horn. Thus far we have noticed any problems with any parts or the trike as a whole. We ordered and received our delivery within a week. And so far, we've received lots of compliments. We ordered the red and the picture is very accurate on the color.
I would recommend this to a friend and plan on putting back for our daughter once our son outgrows it!
