I bought this at a bike shop, not online. I looked high and low for a stable trike for my then two-year old. This is what we found:
It was so very cute, she loved it.
It's nearly impossible to tip, which is important because our driveway/riding area is large and not at all level. And it has the rubber tires which are hard to find and great for traction.
It's very heavy; she is 4 years old now and can finally ride it up the driveway (and it is NOT steep at all,just not level.)We have even taken it to the park and she only rides it for a 10 minutes or so before she's tired and wants to ride her funky little plastic thing with plastic tires!
I bought it for Christmas. By mid summer, the chrome was starting to rust in pits on the entire bike. And it was never left outside, only when she was actually riding the bike.
We have had no problems with the tires or spokes or any other quality issues - only the chrome. The bike is a year and a half old now, and looks like it's about 10 years old. Very disappointing.Get more detail about Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trike (Red).
