When I saw this bike, I was so thrilled. It was the coolest thing ever! We got the pink one for my daughter when she turned 3. We figured it would last for a few years with the adjustable seat. And it did. She used it until about 5 and then started asking for a big kid bike. When we received it, there was a dent in one of the rear fenders. That was a major bummer, but life went on. The biggest bummer was that it was so hard for my daughter to ride. Hard for her to navigate, hard to push the pedals, etc. for months. She's a strong girl too. As she got older it got easier, but never smooth. I think it's because it's a low rider, and the angle of the kid just doesn't give them much power behind their peddling. Very frustrating and disheartening to a little kid learning to ride. As cool as this bike looks, I would have to say that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
